To tell the truth, this suite hardly differs from OpenOffice (on which it's based), but since it has been developed to run on a Mac from the start of its presentation, its stability and quality are a lot higher.
As mentioned earlier, NeoOffice is similar to LibreOffice and OpenOffice, but is developed specifically for Mac OS X. NeoOffice includes the use of the Mac OS X “Gatekeeper” feature to protect you from installing malicious software, Mac OS X “Versions” feature to allow you to restore previous versions of your document, and Mac OS X text highlighting behavior to give you the same feel as other Mac OS X applications.
Unfortunately, NeoOffice is not free. While it is marketed as shareware, you will be “required” to donate $10 to have full accessibility after the trial period is complete. $10 isn’t a great deal of money for what you get with NeoOffice, but it certainly isn’t $0. NeoOffice is also a bit clunky—it can have slow running speeds and uses a high amount of resources for the type of work that it produces.

The suite is filled with nice touches. For example, a "compass" icon in the standard toolbar brings up a separate navigator palette.
